Manifesto(kinda)
We're at a turning point.
Making simple software has never been this easy.
And honestly, I'm fed up.
Fed up with the flashy rainbow apps clogging ProductHunt.
Fed up with endless "lifetime deals" on AppSumo.
Fed up with X influencers and gurus preaching how to hit 10k MRR.
Fed up with DIY stuff with Replit, Bolt, Lovable, whatever comes next.
Here's the truth: the cost of SaaS is crashing toward zero.
Paying for overpriced tools is starting to feel like a scam when you can just build it yourself. So why keep shelling out cash for dumb stuff?
There's still the hassle of maintaining software.
But we've got an answer to that—no money needed.
It's called open source.
Free, collaborative, and better than most of the things you're subscribing to.
Here's the plan, and it's simple:
- 1. We make a board.
- 2. You post the SaaS you want killed.
- 3. People vote on it.
- 4. Link it to a GitHub repo, let everyone see the project, and build it together.
- 5. Software's free for all.
No more bloated subscriptions.
No more hype trains.
We kill the SaaS by making it ourselves.
